Fashion Design

Not Available Designs | 2021-present

Not Available Designs are my current knitwear fashions. I work on Brother Kh-890 and Passap Duomatic home knitting machines to create these pieces. I typically work in a bespoke fashion, assisting other designers with manufacturing of knit products, as well as sell at pop-ups and events around Detroit.

Addicted America | 2019 Thesis

Addicted America utilizes sustainable materials, such as wool, hemp, and recycled leather, to tell the story of choice of natural vs. synthetic medicines when it comes to long term treatment for pain. These materials are knitted and felted to symbolize the connection and layers of corruption between, Big Pharma, the FDA, Doctors, and Pharmacies. Each piece contains a narrative synonymous with the reasons behind the epidemic.

The challenge was to create a collection with Eileen Fisher’s repurposed needle-felted fabric, which comes from their recycled garment program, Renew. Following Eileen Fisher’s brand framework S. C. R. A. P. S. was designed from all the remaining scrap fabric pieces from the renew program.
